5 Games You Need On The Xbox One X!

The Xbox One X is now available and with that, we see a huge amount of power in a smaller console. A lot of the games are taking advantage of all that power by releasing Xbox One X enhanced games. These games are the same games but they are refined for the qualities of the Xbox One X – specifically a higher frame rate and 4K quality.

If you just got an Xbox One X and you’re wondering about some of the best games for the console, this is my own official list of games you should be checking out, NOW!

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed Origins is a game that many people were looking forward to. It already looks good on the Xbox One, but add in the Xbox One X and you have a game that will simply blow you away!

Add on the fact that they announced that they also added better visual boosts, drawn distances and improved shadow quality and this should be your #1 choice on the Xbox One X.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt might not necessarily be a newer game like ACO, but it’s still one that people love. Until now its never gotten past 30 frames per second. But, bring in the Xbox One X and you can have 60 frames per second by choosing the improved performance function on your console.

Forza Motorsport 7

If you have played any of the most recent additions of Forza Motorsport over the past 2 years you can appreciate all the work they put into the game. But, once you see it on the Xbox One X you’ll never go back to playing it on any other console – even the Xbox One. Add in the fact that Forza Motorsport 7 uses HDR, has 60 frames per second and also uses native 4K and you have one of the most beautiful and pristine racing games of 2017.

Forza Horizon 3

I personally own and love Forza Horizon 3 and while I think it looks amazing on the Xbox One, it just got announced that Forza Horizon 3 will also be playable on the Xbox One X. I honestly cannot even imagine how good this looks considering the Xbox One version already had me blown away.

I was trying to find some images as a comparison but everyone has video video video.

However, Euro Gamer has a nice little comparison tool I suggest you check out.

It does a comparison for PC, Xbox One X, and Xbox One and there is a definite difference between the Xbox One and Xbox One X.

Call of Duty: WWII

Yea yea, I’m bringing out Call of Duty: WWII again! One of the things I like about Call of Duty: WWII is that it’s gritty, it’s the way it should be. On the Xbox One X though it keeps the grittiness and adds on layers of high quality graphics. You notice it in your weapons, you notice it in your surroundings, hell you even notice it when looking at the Beach of Normandy in WAR mode.

The Xbox One X version even looks better than the fan favorite PS4 Pro! Faces are clearer, shadows are more obvious, everything has a better 4K quality to it than the PS4 pro could ever hope to have.
