My Big Pre-Order List!

As per usual, more and more games are coming out the closer we get to E3.  When E3 finally happens, I am pretty sure (as always) I will have a few more games added to the list.  But, these are the ones I have pre-ordered thus far.

Destiny 2

I really loved the first Destiny, so as soon as I heard they were putting a second one out, I reserved it right away.  Are there some things that Destiny 2 needs to change from the first game?  Of course.  But, I think that’s like any game.  Take Need For Speed, for instance, I always loved the series, but the first game is not nearly as good as the last game.  If you love a series you really have to commit to it and stick with it to see change!  I wrote a few other articles about Destiny 2, which you can read here, here, here, and here.  Lots of great information in these articles, so make sure you check them out!  Beyond just the actual game, I also purchased the season pass.  You can pre-order Destiny 2 here if you have not done so already, and you can see a few images below on the updated classes and a trailer.

Warlock Dawnblade

Hunter GunSlinger

Titan Striker

Xbox One – Physical Standard Edition of Destiny 2
PC – Physical Standard Edition of Destiny 2
Playstation 4 – Physical Standard Edition of Destiny 2

Playstation 4 – Digital Deluxe Edition Destiny 2

Call Of Duty WWII

I know, I know.  Everyone has been pretty much sick and tired of the last COD games.  But, this is another series I just love.  I have been in love with COD since the first Black Ops.  While I do agree with everyone that its time for boots on the ground game (which you will be getting from WWII), I still own, play and love every single COD out there.  Nothing will ever compare to Black Ops, but hey I love FPS and I think I have been playing the COD series longer than any other series (plus or minus a few months of NFS).  The first 3 games I bought for my 360 were Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Black ops and then a few months after that BF3, so these will always be nostalgic for me!  Call of Duty WWII promises that this game WILL indeed be boots on the ground and you guessed it, it plays in World War 2.  I think they are finally taking a page from Battlefield, seeing as how many games EA has under their belt regarding the BF series and just how many people love the game (me included).  Here is a trailer, some cool images, and the pre-order information.  You can also read my articles on WWII here and here.

Zombie Chronicles

Most of us on Xbox know that the past few COD games have come out on Playstation first.  *slow clap.*  Whatever lol.  That usually means that Xbox gets it a month later.  Okay fine.  Zombie Chronicles came out for Playstation 4 on May 16th, which means Xbox One should get it around June 16th.  However, no one has heard anything about the release date for Xbox One.  I checked all the news sites, all the gaming sites, I even contacted support and they all have nothing to say about the actual date it will be released.  In fact, even the Gamestop website says late 2017 and sites like Amazon, Target, Best Buy etc have NO pre-order options, let alone dates.  So I have no idea when this will actually be coming out, but I pre-ordered it anyway.  I love COD zombies, I love zombies in general, so before they sneak it up on us and say, I don’t know, JUNE 16th I just went ahead and pre-ordered it anyway!  I really hope it comes out soon.  I mean if PS4 gets everything first, whatever, I don’t even care anymore, but at least make it consistent for Xbox One owners and give it to us a month later like you have with the previous GAMES.  You can read my article on Zombie Chronicles here and this is the trailer and a few images.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

There’s really nothing amazing to see with the images above guys.  Its 8 maps that you have probably already played in previous games.  The game is supposed to come with some extra stuff, but that was for the PS4 version and who knows if they are going to do the same thing with the Xbox One version.

Need For Speed Payback

Aww yah.  I really cannot wait for this game.  It’s going to be so much fun!  I pre-ordered this as soon as I possibly could.  The last Need For Speed game was 2 years ago.  I don’t know how or why they skipped a year, but they did.  Even though I bought Forza Horizon 3 and it was and still is a fantastic game, I kept wondering in the back of my head where NFS was.  I figured around this time this year (e3 season) that they would finally announce it and they did.  The Need For Speed Payback game will be coming in November on the 10th.  I ordered the deluxe version because, why not?!  When you get the deluxe edition you get:

High Roller Pack:
• Up to 3 days of early access
• Upcoming Story Mission Pack
• Exclusive Deluxe Edition NOS color (Can be applied to 5 cars)
• Exclusive Deluxe Edition License Plate
• Exclusive Deluxe Edition Leaderboard icon
• 5 Shipments
• 5% Rep Bonus
• 10% Discount on in-game purchases

Platinum Car Pack:
• Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967
• Dodge Charger R/T 1969
• Ford F-150 Raptor 2016
• Nissan 350Z 2008
• Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016
• Exclusive Platinum Blue Tire Smoke

Here is an article I wrote about Need For Speed Payback, a trailer and of course pre-order information.

Crackdown 3

I know that a lot of people are really looking forward to this game and I am ONE of them!  The last Crackdown was released back in 2010 so needless to say its been a long time coming for this game.  Over the years, since playing the first and the second one, I always wait patiently for E3 season to come rolling around to hear something and for the past few years, nada.  Finally this year something was mentioned about it finally getting released and the ball rolled down the hill from there.  I think we will probably hear more about the game at E3 so make sure you check out the schedule here and watch it on the corresponding days.  You can see a few images below, a trailer, and pre-order information.

The Crew 2

The Crew is one of those games I got interested in back when I either was finished with the Need For Speed game that just came out or I was waiting for it to come out, I honestly don’t remember.  I just remember seeing the trailer at E3 with my mate and we were both like incredibly excited.  A new racing game, besides Forza and Need For Speed?  Totally interested!  The Crew, while it was a really good game, had lots of great cars, and was really fun, always had me wondering… what about the rest of the map?  It was the whole United States, but you saw some other areas off to the side.  I always thought it would be cool if they made DLCs that allowed you to travel to other countries.  It never happened, unfortunately, but you never know where The Crew 2 will plan its next location.  Maybe they will do something cool like adjoining countries or another country entirely.  The Crew is not set to release until 2018, but rumors say it could be sooner.  Who knows.  I only know that I pre-ordered it!  You can read my article on The Crew 2 here.  Also, there aren’t really a whole lot of images surrounding the game.  Just this little nifty default image.  There is also no trailer.  Not an official one anyway.  A few fan made ones, that’s about it.  Nor is there any pre-order information but I am sure that will come soon enough.  If you still have not played the first one, I suggest purchasing it because it gets you more familiar with the game!

Dungeon Defender 2

Dungeon Defenders cannot be pre-ordered and its 100% free for Xbox One players.  PC already has their version.  I have heard some rumors that PlayStation 4 is having a PAID beta, but I really cannot comment on that as an Xbox One player because I only asked support about my version, not the PS4 version.  The game has kind of been hush hush about… the game!  In fact, I only heard about it by accident because I randomly visited the DD website and saw that 2 would be released on June 20th.  Because there is no pre-order infirmation or links its hard to say how they plan on releasing the game.  I think that it will most likely be available, straight away, in the Xbox One marketplace.  Definitely, make sure you check that out on June 20th!  You can check out my article on Dungeon Defenders 2 here, here and here.  There is also a trailer and some images below.

Lastly, Borderlands.  I tend to read a lot of video game forums, news sites, websites, blogs, I watch a lot of videos etc.  One rumor I heard was a new Borderlands.  However, sadly I cannot find any valid information on this game at all.  Perhaps it was just one of those rumors that happened because people would really LOVE to see a new Borderlands?  I know I would!  For now, I am going to have to say… no.  There is no new Borderlands game coming out!  Maybe sometime in future, we will see some real news about this, but for right now its just a fantasy!
