Speaking of Microtransactions Call of Duty WW2 will be having these little loot boxes as well. Sorry guys, but you knew this was coming!
There was actually a notification on the dashboard of the game talking a little bit about this service, however, they said that it would be available today. I think with all of the issues going on, they don’t really want to add another issue to the mix so Call of Duty WW2 microtransactions will not be available until November 21st. While microtransactions are not welcomed by everyone, you have to at least give them credit for wanting to fix other issues like server issues before adding in a new feature.
Chances are when they are available, they will be in the store tab, but I think there’s a chance we will be able to purchase points in the HQ as well considering that’s the home base for our gaming world. If the points feature is like most other COD games, we will most likely be able to purchase supply drops, but perhaps some other items.
Those of you that purchased ANY digital version of Call of Duty WW2 will receive 1,000 COD points for free.
Call of Duty WW2 launched earlier this month on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it had a strong start in sales, doubling the sales of Infinite Warfare when looking at each game’s first 10 days on sale.
However, a lot of people are still having issues with the game. In fact, I started to get so fed up and frustrated, I ended up pulling the disc out and going back to Need For Speed Payback – which is amazing by the way! Hopefully they get things sorted out soon and hopefully once they do get everything fixed they will consider having another double XP event because I and many others didn’t really get an advantage with the 2xp feature.
