Star Wars Battlefront 2 – Reviews ‘Round The Web Early Access

As promised yesterday on Gamers Elite, this is the Reviews ‘Round The Web for Star Wars Battlefront 2. I will be doing another one of these once the game is officially released, but for those with early access here are some reviews in progress.

Hobby Consoles – 91/100

“DICE, Criterion and Motive join forces to give us a game worthy of the Force. They have learned their lesson and, this time, we have the Star Wars game we all deserve, with enough variety and a lot of content for every kind of player.”

CogConnected – 86/100

“It’s clear that the developers have been paying close attention to player feedback, as this feels like a significant improvement over the previous entry in the series...

Doom for Nintendo Switch Review ‘Roundup

Doom for Nintendo Switch was just released a few days ago. Since then those that were given the game, bought it after it came out, or got it preordered have started to give their reviews on the game. Below are a few of the reviews you can find on Doom for Nintendo Switch.

Doom for Nintendo Switch – Game Spot 7/10

“If you can stand to look at a lesser version of Doom’s once captivating world, you’ll find that the game plays well enough on Switch so long as you’ve got a TV in front of you and a Pro Controller in hand. There’s nothing else like it on a portable system, but be prepared to face a handful of compromises, especially if you’re used to playing on other platforms. It’s an impressive port that begs you to consider gameplay over graphics, and it succeeds more often than not...

Super Lucky’s Tale Reviews ‘Round The Web

Super Lucky’s Tale just was released a few days ago and people have had a chance to finally play this hyped up game and have come forward with their reviews. This was a game I wanted to purchase – in fact, I had my mouse on the buy now button, but I knew I was going to be too busy with COD and NFS to actually sit down and enjoy it. I will, however, be buying it once the new year comes.

In the meantime I wanted to take a look at some of the reviews for Super Lucky’s Tale.

I gotta say, its not looking good. So far most of the big names in reviews are downvoting this game BIG time. But, lets take a look anyway.

Hardcore Gamer – Super Lucky’s Tale – 80/100

“The biggest flaw is that it fails to leave a major impression despite getting most things right on a point-by-point basis...

Need For Speed Payback Review in Progress

Like any good video game reviewer, I have been jotting down notes the whole time I played Need For Speed Payback. I gotta say, overall; I am happy. However, there are some things that need to be addressed stat.

Activities in Need For Speed Payback

As you would want it to be, there are a lot of activities to do in Need For Speed Payback. Beyond just beating other crews in the games campaign, you can also do:

– Races

– Billboards

– Missions

– Drift Zones

– Speed Traps

– Speed Runs

– Jumps

– Derelict Parts

All of these help you level up and gain RP but they also open other activities and help you earn money.

Derelict Parts works a lot like that of The Crew, but its a little more challenging. They give you clues and a partial map, but even then it takes some time to find them...

Call Of Duty WW2 Multiplayer Review By Gamers Elite

I decided to do Call Of Duty WW2 MP first because, well, that’s really what people want to know about the most!

Over the past few days I have been reading a lot of people’s comments on this game.  For me, Call Of Duty WW2 is not just about being a FPS and blowing stuff up, its about something more.  I don’t want to get all mushy and sensitive – but World War 2 was an actual thing that happened in real life.  I, as I am sure you, have had loved ones serve.

According to the devs for Call Of Duty WW2 they tried to make the game as TRUE to the war as they could.  As a writer who pens military books, I know just how hard this is.

So first and foremost, I would like to thank the VETS from World War 2 that fought...

Call Of Duty WW2 Review ‘Round Up

Well, its that time guys and girls! Call Of Duty WW2 has finally been released. Of course with a new release everyone big on the web is giving out their reviews like candy. I have a feeling that you will see some mixed reviews below because a lot of people are having issues with connectivity and errors. Nonetheless, if these reviewers try to forgive the game for these issues, I think they will find what I found in the beta; its a really good game. Without further ado, here are the Call Of Duty WW2 reviews from ’round the web. By the way remember, these reviews are reviews in progress.

GameSpot – 9/10 Miguel Concepcion

“Ultimately, if every shooter set in the European Theater of World War II is measured by how it depicts its D-Day landing–assuming it has such a mission–Call of Duty: WWII em...

Cuphead Review By Gamers Elite

I bought Cuphead because I was actually looking forward to this game for awhile now. Don’t get me wrong, I love my CODS and my Battlefields and my Need For Speeds, but sometimes you just yearn for a different type of game, and that game was Cuphead for me. Not to mention that I actually liked the graphics that I saw in trailers and in images.

Challenges In The Game

Is the game easy? Not by any means of the imagination. There were actually a few times I thought to myself, why in the heck did I buy this thing! I’M SO ANGRY! This game is definitely not for people that get angrily easily. The bosses in all the levels are pretty difficult – even the first boss where you are really just trying to still get used to the game. They definitely don;t make it easy on you...

First Impressions – Forza 7 Demo

One of the things I like and one of the things a lot of people hate about driving game series like Forza is that it tends to be the same shell over and over again.  Its what’s inside the shell that really matters.  We all know and can expect certain things when it comes to Forza Motorsport:

  • You can expect the usual “assists” when it comes to driving any and all cars
  • You can expect to choose how you want those assists and other options to work – if you are a better driver you can turn everything off and just… drive.  If you are new, you can turn everything on.
  • You can expect that turning all of those assists and features OFF will allow you to earn more money and more XP...

Dungeon Defenders 2 Review

Dungeon Defenders 2 was released on June 20th. I wanted to make this review much sooner, but unfortunately, I could not – major errors and issues with the game (on my end). Though many people are saying they are not having issues, thousands more are, including me. A little bit about Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Defenders 2 first.

About DD

Dungeon Defenders is a tower defense game. I first played the original one a few years back when it was released. Honestly, I was just looking for something fun and non-stressful to play with my ex. I never was really into tower defense games, to be honest, but Dungeon Defenders completely changed my mind about that. It was a fun game that required some skill but not a lot, to be honest...

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut – Review

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut is one of the free games that was available at the start of May. I just started playing it today so I thought I would do a little review on it. If you didn’t get it you can still get it here for Playstation 4, WiiU, DS, and of course PC, but no Xbox One. Sorry guys! This is an older game, it was released back in 2014 (kind of), but since it was a free game and I just got it now, I will do the review now!

The game, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut, is actually steeped in history. It was FIRST released in 1987 for the Commodore 64 believe it or not.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut reminds me a lot of; Limbo or The Swapper. Its considered a puzzle game...
