Dungeon Defenders 2 was released on June 20th. I wanted to make this review much sooner, but unfortunately, I could not – major errors and issues with the game (on my end). Though many people are saying they are not having issues, thousands more are, including me. A little bit about Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Defenders 2 first.
Dungeon Defenders is a tower defense game. I first played the original one a few years back when it was released. Honestly, I was just looking for something fun and non-stressful to play with my ex. I never was really into tower defense games, to be honest, but Dungeon Defenders completely changed my mind about that. It was a fun game that required some skill but not a lot, to be honest... Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut is one of the free games that was available at the start of May. I just started playing it today so I thought I would do a little review on it. If you didn’t get it you can still get it here for Playstation 4, WiiU, DS, and of course PC, but no Xbox One. Sorry guys! This is an older game, it was released back in 2014 (kind of), but since it was a free game and I just got it now, I will do the review now!
The game, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut, is actually steeped in history. It was FIRST released in 1987 for the Commodore 64 believe it or not.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Directors Cut reminds me a lot of; Limbo or The Swapper. Its considered a puzzle game... Read More
For those of you that purchased Horizon Zero Dawn, you know that the game has an in-game photo mode. Its actually very cool! And very appreciated by its players! Horizon Zero Dawn is one of those games that you want to be able to take shots of because it is so expansive, so beautiful and the graphics are amazing! Players are allowed to take pictures of pretty much anything they want; landscapes, Aloy herself, or even the Tech Dino’s in the game which are pretty massive. A lot of fans have been posting their really creative and beautiful images online and sharing them on social media. So if you’re still on the fence about this game, I would like to introduce you to some of the most amazing and beautiful shots people have taken in game... Read More
If you play video games a lot you know that graphics are indeed important. Graphics over the past 20 years have changed for the better, significantly. Hell, even within the past 4 years of Xbox One and 3 years of PlayStation 4 – graphics have changed immensely. Its no wonder with the technology we have today and the creative people behind the scenes making these video games. Even taking a look at a game from 360 versus Xbox One shows a significant improvement. Not only in the simple things like the scenery but the more complex things like facial expressions. As a gamer, it seems like facial expressions and the MOUTH of the character moving in proper sync with the voice coming from the character has always been the most difficult part of a video game... Destiny was one of the titles that managed to create a large cult following. To this day you can still find thousands of people playing the first Destiny; from wondering around the planets to multiplayer and raids. It definitely managed to impress a lot of people and the expansions brought in front some really cool stuff. But it seems that we will finally have Destiny 2, and this one also comes on the PC too, which is amazing! I first purchased Destiny 1, as soon as they allowed pre-orders for the game. So its only obvious that I also did the same thing for Destiny 2.
The expansions for Destiny 2 are codenamed Osiris and Rasputin, so you can imagine a bunch of DLC is coming for the game too... Read More
Battlefield 1 In The Name of the Tsar is the second DLC for the game and, as the name suggests, it will provide us with Russian units and weapons. Having Russian units in Battlefield is a dream come true for some people, and I am sure that plenty of people are going to enjoy all that the DLC entails. Russia is one of the major factions that was missing in Battlefield 1, so having it here is definitely interesting. In the original trailer for Battlefield 1 the game there were all sorts of factions shown and mentioned, one of which was NOT Russia. But a lot of people were wondering and hoping if one of the DLCs would indeed have a Russian Faction. In fact, some were wondering if it even would be available because originally when asked, EA had said no, there would not be a Russian faction... Read More
If you like fighting games, chances are you bought Injustice God’s Among Us back in 2013. This game was unlike any other fighting game out there because it didn’t just put two regular characters together or two fighting characters together (like in MC) but actual superheroes and villains. In Gods Among Us you chose between a few different DC Universe characters to fight against another character. The characters included Batgirl, Shazam, Nightwing, and Killer Frost just to name a few. There were 34 characters available in the Ultimate Edition of Gods Among Us. The 2013 edition really was a successful game. It hit 8.2 on IGN, 9.5 at EGM, 9.0 at Game Informer, etc.
The new Injustice, aptly named Injustice 2 will be available May 16th in North America for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

If you’ve been playing games for the past few years, you probably have heard of a game called Prey that was introduced to us back in 2006 by Human Head Studios. Another Prey game was also supposed to be intro’d which was a sequel to the original, but unfortunately, it was finally canceled in 2014. If you liked the original Prey or you just love these types of games this next Prey is going to be one you will definitely want to check out. Prey: Opening Hour is being developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda and its coming to stores near you in May of this year. Its quickly approaching to say the least. Before I get into the review of Prey: Opening Hour, I just want to go over a few things.
1- The demo for Prey: Opening Hour is available right now... Read More
Why did people like the original Bulletstorm so much? Because aside from being rather goofy, it has maybe the best gameplay in a shooter at the time of release. You will like the fact that Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition retains some of the original flavor, but it takes the game to some new heights as well!
Gameplay For Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition
What you loved in the original game is still here. The gameplay is untouched, although they did add some new game modes and a bit more content to make the game more meaningful and unique. They did a very good job at keeping the core as it was because that’s what really brought the game to life and which made it so cool in the first place.
The skill shot mechanics and leash is so freaking cool! You will always get to feel like a superhero in Bul... Read More
Mass Effect Andromeda is one of the games that had big shoes to fill. Being a part of a large franchise is not easy, and that’s especially true for the Mass Effect series. But Mass Effect Andromeda tries, and it does have some success as well as a bit of failure as well. Mass Effect Andromeda has gone down in price quite a bit, so if you still have not taken the plunge, now might be the time to reconsider!
