Destiny 2 – Free Trial Available Tomorrow

If you’ve been holding back on buying Destiny 2 because you want it at a lower price – you should be aware that you can now play a trial of it.

The Destiny 2 free trial will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC and will start on November 28th.

You can watch the trailer below for the Destiny 2 Free Trial

As of right now there is no specific information on what the free trial includes; what will you be able to play and what will you not be able to play, are all the planets open or just some of them and how long is the trial for ie; how long can you play for before it tells you your trial is up. These are the questions you were probably wondering about, as was I.

As you know I have played Destiny 2 extensively. While I like that they made another game, I think the controls are amazing, the graphics are really good (even better than the first one, on Xbox One) and I like the story; I just got really bored with it. Some things were changed that I am glad they changed, while other things changed and I wish they had not.

Materials for instance. There are materials in Destiny 2, but they work and can be turned in significantly different than the first game.

Right now a few developers are involved in scandals right now involving XP – and Destiny 2 is one of those games. Its said that Destiny 2 was reducing XP gains and then when people figured out this was happening, they called it off. I don’t work at Bungie so I cannot say if this is just hearsay or really what was going on.

But, I did notice a significant change in XP while I was playing Destiny 2. Who knows.

Either way; if you decide to get the trial of the game tomorrow, you can also purchase it when you are ready, here:

Xbox One – Physical Standard Edition
PC – Physical Standard Edition
PlayStation 4 – Physical Standard Edition

PlayStation 4 – Digital Deluxe Edition
PlayStation 4 – Destiny 2 – Game + Expansion Pass Bundle

These are ALL on sale right now so that’s definitely something to think about as well. Do I think its worth buying? Yes. Does it have issues? Yes. It’s not a perfect game by any means, but then, what game is?
