Gems of War is one of those games that I thoroughly enjoy. Not only is it actually fun and challenging, but they are constantly updating the game.
Summary: Create a Hero and conquer the world of Krystara. Each Kingdom you capture holds new troops and quests for you to explore, as you strive to build the mightiest army in the realm.
In Gems of War, you battle your foes not just with swords and sorcery, but with a puzzle board! Match gems to power your spells, and match skulls to smite your enemies! Then take the spoils of war, and forge a mighty empire. It’s highly addictive, easy to learn, and filled with crazy combos and tons of depth.
Each Kingdom has quirky new characters to meet, and plenty of quests and battles to keep you occupied. Even better, there are 25 Kingdoms full of fun (with more coming soon)!
Are you looking for a greater challenge? Maybe Player vs. Player (PvP) combat is your thing. Fight other players in each kingdom, become the champion, then defend your title against the ravening hordes. You can even join a guild and fight alongside your friends!
One of the “gifts” they are offering right now – only available until today, December 21st is the chance to get the achievement called Game Breaker.
In order to get the achievement you really don’t have to do much. Seriously. You don’t have to play for 20 hours or kill 50,000 enemies. All you need to do is open the Gems of War game, go to your in-game mailbox and find your free gift. The Game Breaker achievement has to do with “earning” (in this case, being given) the Mongo Troop.
Once you get into Gems of War and you check your mail and “redeem” the Mongo Troop, your achievement for Game Breaker should show up.
Please keep in mind this is ONLY available today. If you don’t do it today, you can still, of course, earn the achievement, but I will say that it’s quite time-consuming to do so.
It should also be noted, this achievement is…. 5 gamerscore. Yea, its nothing amazing, like 100 GS, but considering they are giving it to you for free, what do you expect?!
