So was everyone else! If you have been trying to play a game that is by Ubisoft and you are trying to play on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, etc it’s not just you! Last night, 6 major games had a major disturbance and other services had issues as well. You can read more about that, below.
According to a Tweet by Ubisoft, they are aware of the issue:
We are aware of server issues impacting multiple games. Our technical team is investigating and working on resolving this as quickly as possible.
Because of this, it might be time to take a break from Rainbow Six for a little while (or whatever else you might be playing this Ubisoft related). As of right now, you will see a lot of lagging, intermittent disconnections, longer waiting queues in multiplayer, etc. It got so bad last night that people weren’t even able to get to online services, websites or even the forums.
As of right now there are a few games that are really receiving a lot of issues that belong to Ubisoft and they are:
Rainbow Six: Siege
Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Watch Dogs 2
So far Ubi has not said what the exact issue is, only that they are aware and trying to fix it. But, I know they did have a system update a few days ago so that might possibly be the main issue. Who knows! They tend to be sort of vague about the why’s hows and whens!
The forum for Ubisoft was last updated last night at 3:30 am and they say that even though most issues should be fixed, you can still expect to have a few issues – if you do, just try to wait it out for a few hours and it should be fixed by the end of today.
Hopefully, Ubisoft will fix this soon!
