The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia – Series 1-3

When you love a series, you tend to follow all of the cool new games, books, guides and products that are available for it. However, sometimes I find that “books” and guides tend to be less popular than say, games or t-shirts. Because of that I wanted to bring to light one item you might not know about – The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia.

There are, in all, 2 books as of right now. Each one has its own history on various parts of the story behind The Leged Of Zelda. Here are the first three The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia books.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia Hardcover – April 24, 2018

Another NEW book is coming in April 24, 2018 and its the official title for The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia. This is actually a blue cover and you can pre–order it right now. A comprehensive collection of enemies and items, potions to poes, an expansion of the lore touched upon in Hyrule Historia, concept art, screencaps, maps, main characters and how they relate, languages, and much, much more, including an exclusive interview with Series Producer, Eiji Aonuma! This, the last of The Goddess Collection trilogy, which includes Hyrule Historia and Art & Artifacts, is a treasure trove of explanations and information about every aspect of The Legend of Zelda universe!

An exhaustive compendium of everything from the first 30 years of The Legend of Zelda.

An expansion of information from The Legend of Zelda timeline.

Rare development sketches of your favorite characters.

An extensive database of items and enemies. The list price is almost $40 but if you pre-order it now, you can actually get it for much cheaper. Its pretty safe to assume that The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is going to be a very popular book in 2018 – right now its #1 in 3 categories, #2 in another category, and its on the Best Sellers List.

I should ALSO mention there are other “copies” of the first 2 books on Amazon, but they are 25th and 30 year anniversary editions. However, I didn’t list those here because A) It does not include the most recent version (the blue one above in 2018) and they are exceedingly more expensive.

You can take a look at all of the editions at this link.

While the regular editions are around $25-$40, the 25th and 30th anniversary editions are being sold for $65+.
