If You Like 8-Bit Games, You’ll Like This…

Chances are if you’re my age, you had an NES growing up. Looking back now; it wasn’t the best system, it was totally archaic compared to what we have today, but it was fun and if your mom or dad got you an NES, you were the coolest kid on the block.  The VERY first game I had was the Duck Hunt / Super mario  “bundle” lol.  The great thing is that I never got tired of playing the same game over and over again.  Which is really good, because I didn’t get another game until a few months later.

Funny enough, NES and 8-bit games were so popular and iconic back then, that today some games (and products) are creating 8-bit look-alikes. In this case, Funko Pop.

We all know what Funko Pop! is (those little vinyl figurines), but did you know they even have some funky 8-bit characters? They’re actually pretty cool but might only make sense if you like or have played 8-bit games before. Otherwise, you would just get a regular Funko POP!

There are both NES colors and regular color themes.

There are a few different characters available, but this one is for the horror genre and includes:

Funko 8-Bit Pop: Horror-Freddy Krueger Collectible Figure

Funko 8-Bit Pop: Horror-Alien Collectible Figure

Funko POP! 8-Bit: Nightmare on Elm Street – Freddy Krueger (NES Colors) Exclusive

Funko 8 Bit Pop: Horror-Jason Voorhees Collectible Figure

Funko POP! 8 Bit: Friday the 13th – Jason Voorhees (NES Colors)-Exclusive

Pretty cool, right?  I think they’re adorable and I like the fact that YOU can choose between regular color themes and the colors that they were in their games.
