Metal Gear Survive Single Player Trailer + Beta Info

Metal Gear Survive is one of those games I am really looking forward to. Not just to play, but I’m curious to see how people perceive it. I have loved a lot of the other Metal Gear games, as I know many others have, but Metal Gear Survive is one of the very first games they will be doing without Hideo Kojima.

If you haven’t heard about Metal Gear Survive yet you can find a sort of synopsis below.

“Metal Gear Survive is a survival action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. It also features cooperative multiplayer mode, in which the player can be joined by up to three other players to explore the game’s world and to complete missions. It can also be played solo, in which the player will be accompanied by three AI teammates, which the player can give orders to.”

Since it was announced Konami has actually been giving out quite a bit of information on the game, including videos of gameplay and trailers. But, now they have finally released the single-player experience.

Just an FYI: THIS story picks up where Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes ended.

Previously mentioned on Gamers Elite, Metal Gear Survive takes place on an alternate timeline which is caused by wormholes appearing in the sky.

It definitely looks interesting!

Metal Gear Survive launches on February 20th in North America and February 22nd in Europe. Not to be forgotten, players can test out the game’s co-op before release in a beta that runs from January 18th-21st.

The beta will be an open beta and it will ONLY be available for PS4 and Xbox One, unfortunately. While the game is available on PC, the beta is getting skipped on PC.

Available for: Japan, North America, Europe, Asia

Participation:
FOX HOUND Name Plate
Accessory Metal Gear REX Head
Accessory Bandana

Internet connection is needed to play the BETA.
You can download the game on PlayStation 4 without PlayStation®Plus.
You will need Xbox Live Gold Membership to play online multiplayer on Xbox One.
*The save data will not be taken over to the full game.
The beta participation bonus will be available for download upon purchasing the full game. The same PlayStation Network and Xbox Live account must be used in beta and the full game to redeem the bonus

If you have any real worries or wonders about the game and how it will play I definitely suggest the beta!
