Shadow Of War just came out on the 10th of October and I know a lot of people are having a LOT of fun with it.  At first the game can be a tad overwhelming because there are so many things to do – but if you’ve finished the main game itself or you are curious about DLCs coming soon, this article is for you.

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War at the end of the game you are attacked by ORCS who want to reclaim the fortress that you overtook earlier in the story. When you begin to battle the orcs, the story ends. But, with the new expansion pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of War that will be coming out there will be a new mode called Shadow Wars in the DLC The Slaughter Tribe which allow for an almost hoard-like mode – endless encounters.

Shadow Wars is free for everyone that owns the game. However, since Slaughter Tribe is an expansion pass, it will cost money. So far though, there is no release date for the expansion for Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

So far Middle-earth: Shadow of War has gotten some pretty good reviews. GameSpot and Steam gave it a 7 out of 10, while IGN gave it a 9 out of 10 and Meta Critic gave it a 83% out of 100%.

Shadow of War is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Xbox One – Standard Edition
Xbox One – Gold Edition

Playstation 4 – Standard Edition
Playstation 4 – Gold Edition

PC – Standard Edition – Digital Only

The Standard edition is only the game.
