When PUBG was first announced I know a lot of us were skeptic, but I think PUBG and the fan base has made it pretty clear: People love this game. I see a lot of people I follow on twitch and YT going from Fortnite to PUBG quite often. Either they simply like both games or they cannot make up their mind as to what the best one out of the 2 is!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds now has a sort of cult following, that’s even more obvious now that they have announced that they have 3 million players online – its only been out for about a month for Xbox One so that’s pretty crazy.
According to PUBG the support and updates for Xbox One is not dying down anytime soon. So far they have had numerous updates to the game to fix things like frame rate, bugs, glitches while adding new content weapons and accessories.
“Today, PUBG Corp. and Xbox are excited to share that through the end of 2017 the PUBG community on Xbox One has already grown to over three million players. Thank you for your incredible support!
The team at PUBG Corp. is determined to continue to improve the in-game experience for PUBG’s growing and active community and have already released four updates since the game’s launch in Xbox Game Preview on December 12.
You’ll continue to see regular updates roll out for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One such as this week’s addition of first-person support for solo, duo, and squads gameplay and the team is just getting started, with more updates planned that include additional game optimization and the new Miramar map.”
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on PC isn’t doing too bad either. According to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PC players are at over 3 million players online as well. It would probably be more but PUBG banned over 1.5 million players for cheating!
I really look forward to seeing where else they go with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One and PC and what other new content updates there will be on Xbox One.
