It seems like a lot of the games that were due out in 2017 was delayed until 2018 – and the games that were supposed to come out in early 2018 are being delayed again. Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games. This is without a doubt a fan favorite and a lot of people are looking forward to the game.
For years there were rumors about a second game coming out. So when it was announced officially in 2017 that they would be coming out with a 2 game in the series, well, as you can imagine people were super excited to hear about it! Unfortunately, shortly after it was announced it was delayed.
A lot of people aren’t mad though. They know that this gives Rockstar a chance to really make sure that the game is ready, playable, has a good story and is also entertaining enough to keep playing it even after you beat the campaign.
Rockstar, however, did announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th. You can check out the announcement below:
“We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th, 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”
Along with this announcement Rockstar also shared some new never seen before screenshots for Red Dead Redemption 2:
Earlier last year, Gamers Elite showed you the CHANCE that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be set in New Bordeaux which is the setting for Mafia 3.
