If you have a PlayStation 4 and you are looking for a new controller – Sony is putting out these translucent DualShock 4 Controllers this month. They will be available at quite a few stores online and real life. This was Posted by Anand Agarwal Group Manager, Peripherals Marketing and Licensing:
“We’re bringing back the fan-favorite translucent controller series with the introduction of these new limited edition DualShock 4 wireless controllers: Crystal, Blue Crystal and Red Crystal. These are new takes on the classic style, featuring a translucent top panel that shows the inner-workings of the DualShock 4. The three colors will be available later this month as retailer exclusives across the U.S. and Canada. You can pick up Crystal at GameStop (EB Games in Canada), Blue Crystal at Walmart and Red Crystal at Best Buy.”
Here are all 3 colors for the translucent DualShock 4 Controllers up close and personal.
Pretty cool, right? I really love the color blue, but I am kind of leaning towards the red right now. Some people are saying that they wish they would create more colors for female gamers. I guess pink and purple? I don’t know. I’m a female and I honestly hate pink and purple! But I mean if you are that intent on getting yourself a “girly” controller, and the translucent DualShock 4 Controllers aren’t good enough for you, you could just buy a PlayStation 4 controller or a skin for it.

Ah. So. Much. Pink! Sorry I think Ill just stick to my camo controller for my Xbox One or I don’t know, IF I did choose a skin, it would probably end up being Wolverine or something like that. The only other option besides just buying the translucent DualShock 4 Controllers or getting a skin/grip for your controller, would be that you would have to get an un-modded modded controller from a website like Mod Controller or Controller Chaos. The only issue with that is that these translucent DualShock 4 Controllers cost around $45. A skin or a grip is super cheap – under $10. Usually these un-modded modded controllers cost a LOT more. Here is a very easy/simple one I made and its $154.
Wow! Add in a warranty, shipping insurance or rush processing and you are looking at $200+. I don’t know, it just makes more sense to buy one of the translucent DualShock 4 Controllers or just buy a skin!
