More Xbox Live Arcade Games Have Been Delisted

In the past Gamers Elite has told you about games that were being delisted from the Xbox Live marketplace, but that was because I was actually given a heads up. Unfortunately, this time around they (Microsoft) sort of sneaked this one up on me!

Games available through the XBLA service range from $5–20 in price, and as of October 2016, there have been 719 Xbox Live Arcade titles released for the Xbox 360. Prior to the Xbox 360, “Xbox Live Arcade” was the name for an online distribution network on the original Xbox, which was replaced by the Xbox Live Marketplace.

These are all Xbox Live Arcade games.

As of right now, the list is:

A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX

Right now A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX is STILL on the Xbox Live Marketplace, however, there are just images. The game, the downloads, the purchase options, etc have been removed.

Chime

For Chime, there is a demo option, but everything else has been removed.

DeathSpank: The Baconing

As with the Xbox Live Arcade game above, this one is also gone – there is a trial demo game for DeathSpank: The Baconing and that’s it.

Greed Corp

Greed Corp, on the other hand, is completely gone. No demo, no images, nothing.

Polar Panic

This one is also 100% removed.

Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien

Same as above.

The Adventures of Shuggy

Ditto here too.

Xotic

This one has been 100% delisted as well.

As per always if you got the game before it was removed, it’s yours, just look in your games and apps area.

A lot of the time they take down games because:

They are OLD
They are not seeing enough sales
The publisher wants them removed for whatever reason
The publisher lost rights to the game

To be honest, I only heard of 2 or 3 of the games above.
